The Most Secure Way To Purchase Manchester United Football Tickets Online

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

When Purchasing for Manchester United football tickets online you should aware of how they operate because there will be some who are just scamming innocent Man United fans. Should you want genuine Manchester United Football tickets, then you need to find a business selling them online that is tried and trusted. It is best to read customer reviews prior to making a purchase. Not only do you have to worry about an illegitimate site taking your money, you also do not want to purchase from a vendor who has a reputation for being slow on delivery. Also ascertain if the review you are reading is legitimate and not simply written up by the vendor themselves. If you see a hyperlink at the bottom of the review, that can help determine whether it is true or paid for.

When you read a review of a product, if it has a link to the product, then you are probably reading a review which has been paid for. Since email spam blockers have come out, advertisers are thinking of new ways to get their product exposure and biased reviews is a fairly popular method. There is a bigger chance for a review to be legit if a review is link free. Although tickets available on eBay are cheaper, buying from a website which specializes only in tickets is always a better idea. Sometimes ticket sellers on eBay ship the ticket too late, and sometimes not even at all. But if you decide to purchase this way make sure you read their feedback to get a better idea of how professional they are and most people you do business with on eBay are honest.

Another way to avoid being scammed is to make sure the checkout page is encrypted before you type in ANY purchasing information. This is something that is extremely important, even though few people consider it during their checkout. So how do you tell if a web page is encrypted or not? At the beginning of a website address you will usually see “HTTP”. If a web page is encrypted the HTTP will change to “HTTPS”. It is important to make sure the page is encrypted even if the company is completely honest, because sometimes it does not show respect for the customers and the security of their personal information. You can be pretty certain that the vendor is safe to purchase from if their check out page is encrypted, and if they have good reviews.

It is also important to go with your gut and these guidelines are important to follow in order to avoid being scammed. You shouldn’t buy anything if you get a funny feeling about the vendor. If it seems fishy it probably is. A little scrutiny goes a long way when it comes to avoiding a scam artist. Your job now is to find a price that is the best! You can buy with confidence the next time you shop on the web if you remember the information presented in this article.

The Most Secure Way To Purchase Manchester United Football Tickets Online

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

When Purchasing for Manchester United football tickets online you should aware of how they operate because there will be some who are just scamming innocent Man United fans. The first thing that you can do to protect yourself if you plan to buy Manchester United football tickets is to only do business with an online ticket vendor with a good reputation. It’s always a good idea to search for customer reviews before you purchase from a particular vendor. You have to be careful of two things: Not giving your money to a site which is likely to steal your details, and finding a vendor which delivers quickly. When reading a customer review on a ticket vendor, it is important to make sure it is a legitimate review and not just clever advertising. The best way to discern if a review is genuine or advertising is to look for a hyperlink towards the end of the review.

A legitimate customer reviewing a product doesn’t usually have a reason to post a link to the very product they are reviewing. Advertisers have found a new way to advertise since most email spam blockers today block their ads, and so they turn to reviews. There is a bigger chance for a review to be legit if a review is link free. Although tickets available on eBay are cheaper, buying from a website which specializes only in tickets is always a better idea. There can be issues with EBay sellers not sending tickets on time, or perhaps they will neglect to send them all together.

What are the signs that will tell you if a web page is encrypted? You will normally se HTTP at the beginning of all web addresses. HTTP will change to “HTTPS”, if a web page is encrypted. It is always a good idea to make sure the page is encrypted because even if a company is completely honest but does not use encryption, it does not show a lot of respect for the customers’ personal information. You can be pretty certain that the vendor is safe to purchase from if their check out page is encrypted, and if they have good reviews.

It is probably a good idea to follow these suggestions to avoid being scammed.  It is also a good idea to follow your instincts. Should a vendor’s pitch not seem plausible to you, avoid buying anything from that vendor. If something seems off then there is a good chance something is. Doing some research will prove invaluable in fending off scam artists. Your job now is to find a price that is the best! You can buy with confidence the next time you shop on the web if you remember the information presented in this article.

The Red Army and The Field of Dreams

Friday, November 13th, 2009

Buying home game Manchester United tickets does not just provide an opportunity to see the Red Devils play live, it also provides the chance to soak in the atmosphere at Old Trafford, sometimes known as the Field of Dreams, and the home of the Red Army.

Fans have been buying Manchester United tickets to their home games at Old Trafford, since 1910 (except for 8 years after it was bombed during World War II).

The name Field of Dreams was bestowed upon the stadium by Bobby Charlton, one of the Club’s best known players.

Sir Robert “Bobby” Charlton was famous for his attacking instincts from midfield and his ferocious long-range shot, and won the FIFA World Cup” World Cup and was named the  “Ballon d’Or” European Footballer of the Year in 1966.

Seating 76,212 Manchester United ticket buying fans Old Trafford is one of the largest of any English football stadiums, and it is one of only two stadia in England to have been given a  “UEFA elite stadium” five-star rating by UEFA.

Old Trafford has hosted many FA Cup semi-final matches as a neutral venue and a few “English national football team” England international fixtures.

During the  “1966 FIFA World Cup”   and  “UEFA Euro 1996″  and the  “2003 UEFA Champions League Final”  matches were also played at Old Trafford.

Stands, officially known as the North, East, South and West Stand surround the pitch at Old Trafford.

Each stand has at least two tiers, with the exception of the South Stand, which only has one tier because of construction restrictions.

The lower tier of each stand is split into Lower and Upper sections, the Lower sections having been converted from standing room only terraces in the early 1990s.

The West Stand at Old Trafford is the most famous, and is known as the  Stretford End.

Originally designed to hold 20,000 fans, the Stretford End was the last remaining where fans watched the game on their feet at the ground before the forced upgrade to seating in the early 1990s.

Stretford End is where Manchester United’s most die-hard supporters, known as The Red Army have their seats.

Much of the noise and atmosphere at Old Trafford emanates from this stand, and the roar from the Red Army there was once measured as louder than the roar of a jumbo jet lifting off.

Unless you’ve been subscribing to your season Manchester United ticket for many years  it is impossible to get a seat in the Stretford End, even for the most die-hard fan.

Manchester United’s fan club, usually called the Red Army was once the largest and most infamous group of followers British football has ever seen.

When the Red Army followed Manchester United to an away game, the town would fall into chaos: large numbers of fhe Red Army would travel en-mass by train, coach, car or even by foot if necessary, doing whatever it took to get to the game.

In  “1974–75 in English football” the mid-seventies when Manchester United had been sent down from the top flight of English football and played a single season in the  “Football League Second Division” Second Division, the Red Army caused so much trouble  at football grounds around the country visiting other team’s stadiums and often outnumbering  home fans, it led to the introduction of home and away fan segregation and fencing at football grounds throughout England.

These days, the Red Army is quite different to what it was in the 1970’s & 80’s.

This Manchester United supporters club, now has a fan base of over 300 million fans across the world.

The huge number of Manchester United supporters, all of whom would like to visit Old Trafford, both to see a live game and to experience the atmosphere there, result in it almost always being difficult to buy Manchester United Tickets.

When Do Tickets for Manchester United Start Being Sold.

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

Many football fans want Manchester United tickets more than tickets for other Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League matches.

One United fan club members have priority for home games because they can win tickets through a lottery system. Lottery entries usually have to arrive 4-6 weeks before game-day and winning tickets will be mailed out (fans in other countries might have to pick up their tickets from the box office on game day). For some games, (e.g. Champions League matches), applications might have to be  received closer to game day. For accurate information about upcoming games, the easiest way is to subscribe to the One United newsletter. Home game tickets are very rarely available to the general public, so becoming a member of One United and entering the lottery are your best bet to get tickets for a particular game.

Season ticket holders have first chance to buy tickets for Manchester United home games. Manchester United usually gets an allocation of only several thousand tickets, and the demand for them is much higher than the number available so One United members and the general public typically don’t have an ability to buy these tickets. Another option is to purchase tickets directly from the host team, but the downside to this is that you will be sitting with the home team fans. Tickets for the most popular games at Liverpool. Chelsea, Arsenal or for the local derby at Manchester City are hardest to come by, but your chances of success are much greater when Manchester United plays at some of the less popular Premier League teams. The Group Stage of the Champions League might offer your best chance to see Manchester United play an away game. Because ticket sales dates vary from team to team, in order to get correct information you’ll need to check on the respective team’s website.

Because Manchester United is one of the world’s most popular teams, getting tickets for most games will not be easy to do. Although careful planning is essential, it is still no guarantee that you will be able to get tickets. If all other methods are unsuccessful, there are many brokers who sell Manchester United tickets, but usually at prices that are significantly higher than their face value.
